What Energizes You?

I see you. I hear you.

You haven’t been feeling like yourself lately, right? You’re waking up already tired, feeling sluggish before the day has even begun. You just want to hit that snooze button and maybe throw your alarm clock across the room. I get it. Believe me, I do.

There are probably a few reasons why you're feeling this way. Maybe it’s those late nights filled with endless to-do lists and tomorrow’s worries. Or perhaps work has been piling up, and you haven’t had time for the rest and recharge you need.

But here’s the thing—you probably haven’t been focusing on what truly brings you energy. You may not even be aware of the things that light you up anymore.

So, ask yourself right now: “What brings me the most energy? What fuels and excites me and makes me feel zingy?

And, no, I’m not talking about the quick fixes like caffeine or a sugar rush. I mean the real stuff. The stuff that makes you feel truly alive.

Is it dancing like no one’s watching?

Is it getting lost in a good book?

Is it the peace you feel after meditating and clearing your space?

Or maybe it’s that post-workout high when you’ve pushed your body and it thanks you for it.

Whatever it is, find it. And once you do, make it a regular part of your life. Because energy doesn’t just come from sleep or food—it comes from doing the things that make you feel alive, that bring you joy and fulfillment.

Take a moment right now, just five minutes, and answer the question of “What fuels me?” When you find that answer, take action. Start small, but start today. Commit to doing more of what lights you up, even if it’s just for a few minutes each day.

We often push aside the things we love when life gets busy or overwhelming. But what if those are the very things that could help us feel recharged and vibrant again?

You don’t need to overhaul your entire routine overnight. Just start with something simple. Dance for 10 minutes in your living room. Go for a walk outside and breathe in the fresh air. Or sit quietly and let yourself just be.

Remember, your energy is your power. Reclaim it.
