What Drew Me Back to the Law of Assumption

Many people discover spiritual practices like the Laws of Attraction, Vibration, and Assumption when they’re going through some sort of upheaval. Often, it’s a breakup that leaves them with a desire to bring someone back or open themselves to new love. Others turn to these laws hoping to manifest windfalls of money, and if I’m being honest, that was my entry point too. The idea that I could manifest love, money, and so much more felt exciting and empowering.

My First Steps: The Law of Attraction

I began my manifestation journey in late 2018, diving deep into the Law of Attraction. Like many, I immersed myself in YouTube channels hosted by creators such as Jake Ducey, Aaron Doughty, and Robert Zink. I also re-read some classics like Eckhart Tolle’s The Power of Now and Rhonda Byrne’s The Secret, and even revisited some recorded Abraham Hicks seminars available online. These teachings opened my eyes to new ways of thinking, yet something didn’t fully click.

Despite my best efforts, I found myself stuck in the energy of trying—trying to attract, trying to manifest, trying to force things to happen on my timeline. What I didn’t yet understand was that manifestation requires more than just effort or positive thinking. The key lies in letting go of the “when,” “how,” “where,” and “why.” The more I relaxed and stopped chasing, the easier things started to flow. It wasn’t about making things happen but about stepping into the version of myself that naturally aligned with what I desired.

Recognizing My Inherent Power

The turning point came when I realized that I was standing in my own way. My doubts, insecurities, and obsession with outcomes were the real obstacles. What I needed to cultivate was a deeper sense of self-worth and authenticity—the understanding that I already had everything within me to create the life I wanted.

This was a profound shift. I didn’t need to “attract” anything outside of myself; I needed to become the version of me who already had it all. Once I recognized this, it became easier to align with the right opportunities, people, and circumstances because I started to feel secure within myself. I began to trust that I was always welcome in the spaces meant for me, with the right people, at exactly the right time.

Returning and Moving to the Law of Assumption

So what brought me into the Law of Assumption? It was the desire to focus less on getting things and more on being the person I wanted to be. I no longer wanted to manifest love, money, or success by chasing after them—I wanted to become the kind of person who naturally aligns with those things by living as my best, most secure self.

This shift inspired me to create content from a more authentic place. It’s what led me to launch my own YouTube channel and start a brand new podcast, both of which allow me to explore these ideas in greater depth. I’m no longer waiting on external validation to feel fulfilled or worried about when certain milestones will happen. I trust that as I work toward becoming the best version of myself, everything else will fall into place.

Aligning with the Right Energy

Since embracing the Law of Assumption again, I’ve met amazing people and made connections that feel aligned with the person I am becoming. These relationships make me feel seen, appreciated, and valued—not because I’ve forced them to appear but because they naturally reflect the energy I’ve cultivated within myself.

I still experience ups and downs, of course—there are days when things feel heavy or uncertain. But even during those “suck” periods, I remind myself that the process isn’t about perfection; it’s about showing up consistently. I no longer stress about when I’ll meet the love of my life or where the money will come from. Instead, I focus on aligning with the version of myself who already has what she needs.

This shift has freed me to enjoy life more. I’m not just hoping for financial security to pay my bills or afford small luxuries. I trust that I will also have enough to invest in experiences that expand my world, whether it’s purchasing a new business course, buying more self-development books, or even signing up for an aerial silk class. I’m no longer just setting goals; I’m curating a lifestyle—one that aligns with the vision I have for myself.

Becoming the Version of Myself I Envision

Every day, I dedicate time to becoming the version of myself I see: a successful content creator, coach, writer, and tarot reader. That means writing, planning, creating, recording, and strategizing—not from a place of desperation but with full confidence in who I am and the value I bring to the world.

The Law of Assumption teaches that we don’t have to wait for external circumstances to change in order to feel fulfilled. We can embody the energy of fulfillment right now. And by doing so, we naturally attract the opportunities, relationships, and experiences that align with that energy.

Returning to the Law of Assumption has reminded me of the power that comes from within. It’s not about trying to control everything but about knowing who I am, aligning with that energy, and trusting the process. The rest? It all falls into place at exactly the right time.
